Patience, Care, and Compassion

Feral cats are homeless cats.  These animals suffer.  They need food, water and shelter.  They ultimately need to be caught and spayed or neutered.   Leaning Oaks Cat Haven promotes humane trapping, spay or neuter and adoption programs.  If you are interested in helping your community deal with this problem, please contact us as soon as possible.  We will supply you with the information and resources you need to be a part of the solution.  For advice regarding the taming and/or fostering of feral or orphaned cats consult your veterinarian.  Another source to obtain information on this subject is from the Feral Cat Coalition.  Remember:  Feral cats are frightened of human contact.  They may have a deadly disease.  Untreated abscesses and respiratory infections can mean suffering and a slow death.  Your compassion can make all the difference in the world.  Together we can make a difference!
